Illumination Foundation (IF) is a growing non-profit organization dedicated towards disrupting the cycle of homelessness by providing targeted, interdisciplinary services in our recuperative care centers, emergency shelters, housing services and children’s and family programs. IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.Job DescriptionHousing Case Manager is a community-based, high-engagement role wherein direct transitional care is provided to moderately sized caseloads composed of clients across our service county. Individuals in this role will have to be adaptive, resource-savvy, personable, team-oriented, and have advanced critical thinking skills. This role requires both remote and in-person engagement when necessary, and is focused on delivery of optimal transitional care to homeless and other vulnerable populations.The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.ResponsibilitiesSearch for and develop housing inventory for programs across agencyDevelop relationships with property managers and landlords to support housing inventoryConduct housing inspections to meet HUD Housing HabitabilityConduct housing utility inspections and complete reportsConduct rent reasonableness reports to meet HUD Housing HabitabilityConfirm client rent payments monthlyAssist case managers and clients in housing applications, searches and connectionsActs in an ethical manner reflecting core values of integrity, transparency, accountability, respect and responsibility.
