Job Requirements / Description
The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to the following:
- Providing on-call support to center and Administrative Offices employees as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members;
- Resolving center and Administrative Offices PC issues;
- Providing training and technical support to employees at the centers and Administrative Offices;
- Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving complex PC problems;
- Recommending and implementing hardware solutions. This often requires working off-site at the centers;
- Maintaining an inventory of computer equipment and be able to offer guidance on what equipment needs to be purchased;
- Developing and implementing new computer projects and new hardware installations;
- Working with third-party vendors to resolve PC issues when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field or one to three years of task related experience;
- One to three years experience with Patient First preferred;
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PC systems;
- Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems and standards, including TCP/IP, internet, and routing;
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural guidelines, and OEM guides;
- Ability to research and resolve computer related issues;
- Ability to prioritize;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
