Vice President: Our client’s due diligence team within Securitized Product is looking for a Vice President for on-site in New York City. In this capacity, they will play an integral role in the loan level due diligence activities that correspond with acquisitions, lending, securitization, and servicing of mortgage whole loans pools. They will be primarily responsible for analyzing, loading, and presenting due diligence data to support business across whole loan trading, warehouse financing, and securitization.


Position Overview: As a V.P. there is an opportunity to learn within this role as you will be working with trading desks and helping them develop and improve complex models, provide data analysis, and trade ideas, and develop analytics to access enormous datasets to enable in-depth analysis of loan level data sets. The successful candidate will effectively balance daily functions with numerous ad-hoc requests as well as develop strategic solutions for the desk.


Essential Job Functions:

  1. Analyze and provide summarization reporting and tracking for pre- and post-settle deal status, diligence and collateral curative activity, and contractual and regulatory milestones.
  2. Review, verify, and maintain the highest quality of due diligence data.
  3. Act as the liaison between the sellers, vendors, servicers, external counsel, and other third parties with respect to due diligence activities.
  4. Writing complex queries to analyze enormous mortgage datasets and provide analysis, reports, and historical performance trends and provide DD color to the trading/banking and finance teams.
  5. Possesses a working knowledge of all whole loan and securitization business related documentation and market standard procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in either RMBS, CMBS, or ABS.
  2. Strong data analytical skills.
  3. Experience in Loan Management System, Warehouse Management System, CAS, or Liquidaty.
  4. High attention to detail.
  5. Possesses good communication skills.

The annual full-time base salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $210,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility, and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full-time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
