Target hiring range for this position will be between be $56,782-$67,430.00 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Job Summary:
This position manages and executes marketing projects for the Professional and Continuing Legal Education events and programs, and other Office of External Partnerships projects, as requested.
The Sr. Marketing Coordinator has the following responsibilities for the Office: implement and execute creative marketing tactics and communications to extend the reach and reputation for all programs and Institutes and provide input on creative marketing tactics and communications ideas for the professional legal market. The Sr. Marketing Coordinator will gather data and provide an initial analysis of marketing efforts to assess the success of marketing tactics, provide reporting on the outcome of various outreach efforts, and provide recommendations for improvement to the supervisor for evaluation.
The Sr. Marketing Coordinator will assist with the execution of business development for the Affiliate and Sponsorship programs for all Institutes, with primary responsibility for creating prospectus documents, helping to maintain relationships with contacts, and performing research to assist in identifying new outreach opportunities for revenue generation. In addition, the Sr. Marketing Coordinator will assist with all onsite logistics for sponsors.
In consultation with the Law School's Marketing Department, this position is responsible for executing marketing tactics and communications plans and activities and creating all requested media and graphics to expand the reach and revenue of the Office of External Partnerships. The position reports to the Director, Professional & Continuing Legal Education.
Specific Responsibilities :
- Execute the marketing tactics, communications, and campaigns for Professional and Continuing Education events and programs, and other Office of External Partnerships projects to ensure effective reach and maximize attendance.
- Manage day-to-day marketing outreach operations for optimal creativity, effectiveness, efficiency. Ensure consistently high-quality standards across all projects.
- Execute marketing and communications plans for various programs and Institutes, implementing tailored approaches and creating materials and/or using mediums appropriate for targeting potential customers (including print, digital, and social media).
- Perform requested research on market trends and stay abreast of the developments in marketing tactics and communications best practices to serve as a resource to the team.
- Design, develop and coordinate the production of customer communications, including e-announcements, invitations, and alerts.
- In collaboration with supervisor, write content, design graphics, and generate distribution methods for campaigns to include e-mail blasts, direct mail, web, and other communications for external audiences.
- In collaboration with supervisor, design and implement social media plan and ensure its integration with broader marketing efforts.
- Create materials necessary to maintain and develop Professional and Continuing Legal Education and Office of External Partnerships branding and visual identity.
- In collaboration with supervisor, design, create and execute all print, online and multi-media design projects to convey messaging, enhance awareness and expand reach of programs, including designing event images and branding materials.
- Collaborate with Law School Marketing team to manage the marketing collateral production process to ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality.
- Ensure that advertising and marketing materials accurately represent department programs and are relevant to audiences.
- Execute primary setup of digital platform for events and coordinate with vendor as needed.
- Engage with external vendors as needed to procure both Institute signage and giveaway items for attendees to showcase branding.
- Assist with execution of business development and outreach plan for Professional and Continuing Legal Education organizational partners.
- Under direction of supervisor, conduct research of prospective targets, industries, markets, and competition to identify potential partners.
- Perform research to identify growth opportunities and design marketing strategy to address growth plan.
- Assist with management of Affiliate and Sponsorship programs for all Professional and Continuing Legal Education events including on-site assistance, and logistics follow-through.
- Provide logistical support to affiliates and sponsors (on and off site), as needed.
- Assist with maintaining database of target markets and prospects and maintain clean and accurate data.
- Assist with maintaining CRM database for business development purposes including analyzing conversions, reporting, and tracking target markets and building and maintaining outreach lists.
- Execute processes for analysis of marketing campaigns and communications utilizing data and analysis to evaluate success.
- Implement marketing evaluation processes, including quantitative and qualitative measurements that ensure that project benchmarks are successfully attained and communicated in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor, measure, and communicate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and suggest changes, as necessary. Examples include but are not limited to assessing the satisfaction of organizational partners.
- Assist in creation of practices, procedures, and metrics to measure marketing tactics and communications success, including generating post-event marketing reports and analysis. Collaborate with team in developing and implementing ideas for improving related business processes and for increasing project revenues and margins.
- Provide data analytics expertise to inform and develop insights.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or the equivalent combination of experience, training and education from which comparable skills can be acquired.
- One to three years of full-time experience in marketing and communications.
- Understanding of creative marketing tactics and communications.
- Ability to attend and assist with event programs annually. (Minimal travel required.)

- Understanding of or experience in legal marketing and communications.

- Proven ability to set day-to-day priorities based on incoming requests and overall objectives of the department and Law School, as well as the ability to anticipate issues and opportunities.
- Identify and effectively use data to formulate realistic and sound points of view and effectively communicate the same to manager and team members.
- Working knowledge of CSS and HTML.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.
- Proven record of fiscal responsibility.
- Analytical skills with an ability to synthesize, interpret, and summarize information.
