MIG WelderUltimate LLC is looking to hire Welders for commercial projects in the Shawnee area. The pay range of a Welder is $18-20 per hour based on experience. The majority of our position’s hours range from 45 to 50 hours a week. Welder applicants have a personal vehicle and be prepared to work up to 40+ hours a week. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all welders with no week in the hole.Ultimate Welder responsibilities• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations• Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required• Positions and clamps workpieces together or assembles them in jig or fixtures if needed• Selects torch, torch tip, filler ford and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material• Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.• Create quality welds according to blueprints & Inspect welds for accuracy• Repair broken or cracked parts.• Move parts in and move finished product to conveyer belt.• Perform other duties as assigned by leaderUltimate Welder requirements2+ years of Welding experience18+ years of ageAbility to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistanceMath, problem solving, and construction skillsUltimate LLC strives to create and maintain a culture of safety for all our field employees.
