Job Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Member Records, the Imaging Clerk supports the Member Records team in all functional areas related to member records. The Imaging Clerk will perform a variety of tasks and projects, including opening all internal and external correspondence (i.e. faxes, email, mail), and indexing electronic copies.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Indexing information from a variety of sources (i.e., faxes, email, and mail).
  • Accurate indexing and identification of forms using an imaging system.
  • Fulfilling daily requests for the location of member records on microfiche and microfilm and scanning records into the imaging system.
  • Filing and maintenance of microfiche/microfilm records.
  • Scanning member documentation into the imaging system.
  • Adhere to business procedure guidelines.
  • Handle time-sensitive material, e.g. confidential, urgent packages.

  • Must be able to concentrate on details, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to focus and multi-task in a busy office environment, successfully handling stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and cross-departmental environment.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a mailroom or professional environment.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer storage systems, and duplicating/scanning equipment.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use both hands, frequently required to stand, sit, stoop, talk, and hear communicate verbally in person and via telephone), and be able to read computer screens, correspondence, and reports.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
