    Job Description:

    • Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings,
    • Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell
      Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned
    • Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process
      planning sequences as required.
      Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models
      with 2D drawings exist as required.
    • Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing
      operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs.
    • Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for
      Numerical Controlled equipment.
    • Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat
      patterns and associated digital tooling programs.
    • Working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design,
      Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures.
    • Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
    • Supports producibility assessments when requested.
    • Maintains records and schedules of work assigned.
    • Will meet established company cost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness.
    • Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by
    • Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to
      communicate and interact between internal and external customers.
    • Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct,
      instruct, mentor and check/validate Production Engineering work.
    • Required to attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by
      management to remain current with technological advancements.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Four (4) years college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry.
    • Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
    • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms
