MAG Aerospace is bidding on a NAVWAR PEO C4I program out of San Diego and contingently hiring for a Senior Contracts Management Analyst with current TS/SCI eligibility.

This position will manage and support a high level NAVWAR program while providing contract management services to assist with the development of contract strategy, planning, and administration. This position will support the development of contract strategies such as conducting and documenting Procurement Requests (PRs), Modification Requests (MRs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Statements of Work (SOW).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Track, distribute and maintain program and project contractual data to include delivery orders, amendments, PRs, MRs and CDRLs.
  2. Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, and conferences, on all planned and ongoing procurement activities.
  3. Assist the Government with conducting and documenting market research and surveys for programs and projects.
  4. Incorporate Sensitive Activities Intelligence Related Contracting (SAIRC) and other relevant guidance for development of Procurement Initiation Documentation (PID), Purchase Request (PR), and Funding Documents (FDs), required by the PCO.
  5. Generate, review, and provide support to the preparation of contract documentation, to include (but not limited to): Service Level Agreements (SLA), Acquisition Plans, Justifications and Approvals (J&A), Determination and Finding (D&F) and Procurement Planning Conferences (PPC) materials.
  6. Prepare DD-1423 forms and determine appropriate Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) for each deliverable.
  7. Track DoD, Navy, Naval System Management Activity (NSMA), NAVWAR, and PEO C4I Contract Policy Updates and assist in ensuring that all contracts adhere to current policies.
  8. Track contract actions and schedules and provide a weekly status report for all contracts.
  9. Assist in contract tool development, create and maintain contract libraries, portal sites, assist in contract-related formal and informal Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) events, develop and document contract related processes and procedures, and create briefs and training materials.
  10. Develop and maintain a tracking database of the status of all planned and ongoing procurement activities.
  11. Coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of contract deliverables and project/program briefings and presentations.

Requirements

Experience

  • Ten (10) or more years of recent and relevant experience managing contracts within Navy and other DoD organizations.

Education

Bachelor's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience related to Contract Management Analyst position requirements (at least fourteen (14) years experience).

Desired Requirements

  • Familiarity with Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), and Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I).

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $63,750 to $106,250 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
