Job Overview:

• We are seeking a motivated Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will embody our core values, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail in all aspects of remodeling projects. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & teach crews on all aspects of remodeling.
• Answer to project managers & complete quality work.
• Reliably install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, trim, and hardware.
• Conscientiously interpret and execute blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Collaborate industriously with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, general contractors, as well as a team.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to all safety regulations and building codes.
• Working knowledge of all current State code requirements & modern building practices.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures with a conscientious approach.
• Performing all carpentry duties required including both rough and finish carpentry.
• Communicate with clients respectfully to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, reflecting respect for the workspace and team.
• Positive attitude and desire to promote a positive atmosphere on site.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience & 5+ years of finish/trim carpentry.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficient planning & ability to adapt in field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry or related field.
• Experience with specialized carpentry tasks such as cabinetry, stair installation, or custom woodwork.
