VP of Product: Product Management
Ordr, Inc. is seeking a VP of Product Management to spearhead our competitive positioning and field enablement strategy, and execution. We are on a mission to make the connected world a safe place and as our VP of Outbound Product Management and Operations, you will collaborate with key leadership and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Ordr. The VP of Product will report directly to our Chief Product Officer.
Responsibilities
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: You'll constantly be learning about the market landscape, understanding customer needs and pain points, and keeping a pulse on competitor activity. This will inform your product positioning and go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth and expand Ordr’s customer base.
- Product Pricing, Packaging and Positioning: Conduct market analysis and develop pricing models, packaging and positioning strategy enabling increased profitability.
- Product Messaging and Field Enablement: You'll work with marketing to craft compelling content and messaging that highlights the Ordr story and value proposition of our products and resonates with target audiences. This includes providing resources (collateral/documentation) to enable consistent field sales training that highlight customer business benefits.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: You'll work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth product launch and ongoing customer adoption.
- Product Launch Management: You'll play a key role in planning and executing product launches, ensuring all teams are aligned and the launch generates excitement. Coordinate all release and all product launches for consistency, quality and messaging perspective with sufficient content. Coordinate the release process ensuring product quality.
- Customer Advocacy: You'll be the voice of the customer within the product organization, ensuring their needs are heard and reflected in product development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience in a similar leadership role within the cybersecurity industry.
- A track record of delivering timely, high-quality outcomes through comprehensive and efficient execution.
- 7+ years developing and launching successful products.
- Exceptional understanding of product management techniques, agile methodologies, and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills aligning cross-functional teams towards common goals.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the technical and market landscape within the cybersecurity market.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
