Description This position provides clerical support for the other Human Resources staff. Hourly Wage - $29.00 - $33.00 90 Sign on Bonus - $500.00 6/12 Months Bonus - $500.00 Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manages Workers Compensation for the Company: Processing Claims; Ensuring claims are processed on time and in compliance with procedures. Reviewing each claim to assess accuracy and validity Collecting, Assessing and Providing information; information will need to be evaluated and provided to the claims TPA. Being a liaison for the Company and Employee between the TPA. Management of each Worker's compensation claim, including communication with local HR staff, Risk Management, Supervisor, Employee and TPA. Maintaining records and management of the life of the claim, including the tracking of providers visits and leave. Comprehensive thinking; recommendations of each claim at different stages of the process. Prepare and maintain OSHA records/logs Manages Drug screening program; including Pre-employment, Post Accident and mandated FMCSA DOT Drug screenings. Maintaining compliance with DOT periodic random drug testing requirements. Creates employee identification badges. Processes verifications of employment based on information in the HRIS system. Audits drug test bills, reviewing for billing accuracy, codes, and advances for payment. Places orders for business cards and other company stationery. General office duties, including: maintaining/filing electronic personnel records, faxing, copying, etc. Assists in maintaining Sales Agent Licensing with the Washington State Liquor Control Board Assists with annual review of employees' Motor Vehicle Reports. Assists with incoming document quality control. Assists with distribution publication of employee newsletter. Assists with internal and external correspondence. Assists with special projects. Participate in HR staff meetings. Look for and suggest new ways to improve processes and procedures. Other duties as they are assigned. Job Requirements BS or BA in Human Resources Management or related working experience. Human Resources and Workers Compensation experience helpful, but not required. Working knowledge of an HRIS system preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have high level of organization and prioritization skills. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and the general public.
