Accounting Manager - Monroe

Echo Falls in Monroe, WA is looking to hire an Accounting Manager! The Accounting Manager position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Pay starting at $85,000, depending on experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage all aspects of accounting including all ERP functions, billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.
• Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring all accounts are paid on time.
• Process accounts and collecting payments.
• Keep an organized filing system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts.
• Prepare and organize financial statements for record and review.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Manage the annual budgets and forecasts.
• Organize information and statements for audits and both internal and external auditors.
• Complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.
• This position requires 5 day a week work in the office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in accounting managemenT
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Supervisory experience
• Manufacturing/ cost accounting experience required
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial reports
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate accounting information
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage personnel
• Accurate and attentive to detail
• Strong computer application skills such as: Excel, MS Office, Payroll systems and Outlook
• Ability to assist and support others
