The Financial Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager FP&A and supports the entire organization in a variety of corporate FP&A initiatives to drive finance, strategy, and operations solutions across DAT.

What You'll Do

  • Support Finance team in day-to-day tasks, including implementing various financial analysis, forecast and budget processes, and preparing relevant deliverables
  • Support finance efforts to add value to business partners across the organization, including data analysis, tracking, and reporting on operating metrics & KPIs. Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
  • Work closely with Accounting team to provide audit and month end support
  • Assist the Finance team with workflows required to close out month end including Partnerships and product reporting
  • Support Finance team with creation and maintenance of financial models, including but not limited to revenue forecasts, expense planning models
  • Execute on monthly commissions process including calculation reports, pay out emails, field questions and ad-hoc requests
  • Create and update management and Executive Leadership Team presentation materials
  • Partner with FP&A strategy team on stagegate models, presentation materials, and other general items as needed
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • 2-4+ years of related work experience and/or customer facing role
  • Experience working in a collaborative role within financial and/or data analysis a plus
  • Proficiency with the google suite of tools (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
  • Strong technical abilities demonstrating knowledge of Microsoft Excel analysis skills
  • Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and accounting concepts
  • Motivated self-starter and team player; ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with ambiguous and/or iterative fact-sets
  • High attention to detail is a must
  • Works under general supervision with relatively little guidance necessary, can take direction well
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and strong appetite to learn
  • Experience and/or knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) a plus.
  • Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the trucking industry is a plus

Bonus Skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce reporting and CPQ / Billing a plus.
  • Experience working with subscription software models is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific trends and regulations.

(Colorado only) In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $60,000 base salary, plus benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
