Akkodis is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Fulltime position with a client located in Zeeland MI 49464 (Onsite). Ideally looking for recent graduates or having 1+ years of experience. knowledge of Ignition Platform SCADA software will be a huge plus.
Salary Range: $72000-$85000 per Anum with benefits. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Controls Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine functions which require the application of standard techniques and criteria in carrying out a sequence of controls engineering task.
What you will be Doing
- Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
- Recognizes problems that are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.
- Performs routine functions that require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
- Designs, supports and tests low complexity controls and automation systems and equipment. Ensures designs meet useability and supportability criteria.
- Applies industry best practices for machine safety, ergonomics, and efficiency/product yield.
- Supports the manufacturing floor for any controls related questions
Level 1 Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Engineering, or Mechatronics is required.
- No Experience Required, Internship Preferred
- General knowledge of Ignition Platform SCADA software
Level 2 Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Engineering, or Mechatronics is required.
- 1 year or more of related experience required.
- Basic knowledge of Ignition Platform SCADA software
