Purpose of the Job:
Provide direct support, development, and maintenance in different modules (SD, PP, QM) of the company's SAP and related systems. The jobholder contributes to improvements in existing standards and procedures thus expanding work boundaries. This jobholder is capable of creating a scope of work to address defined problems. The individual is expected to breakdown complex issues into smaller quantifiable parts and implement established procedures, and possibly develop new procedures to accomplish goals. The individual focuses on completion of specific tasks. The jobholder will work closely together with the European SAP Business Analyst who own the models and configure the system
Internal Factors:
The jobholder - while coordinating with peers in Europe - needs to work closely with all areas the organization in the U.S.: IT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, Manufacturing, and QC.
External Factors:
Customers: Addressing logistics planning and service needs so product is available-to-promise to customers where and when they need it.
Terminals: Addressing logistics planning and service needs so product is available-to-promise to customers where and when they need it and inventory levels are monitored and managed.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Accountabilities:
  • This position - and all positions - with the INEOS Oxide US organization requires the incumbent to commit to learning, following, and practicing INEOS 20 Principles of Process & Behavioral Safety as applicable to the position. These Principles are posted throughout each Oxide facility and each employee must also commit to following INEOS' Life-Saving rules on a daily basis. These are also posted within each Oxide facility.
  • Analyze business issues and identify solutions which will enable significant operational improvements in the company's supply chain, customer service and manufacturing planning functions.
  • Work with the business functional community and other process areas to investigate and resolve business process and data issues.
  • Support developing and sharing of best practices within the local organization.
  • Assist/implement improvement projects for the US organization

    Provide first line support and seek for solutions
  • Maintain master data e.g. material master, shipping points, storage locations, plants across different production sites
  • Support, develop and share best practices within the local organization.
  • Document processes
  • Provide training to users and increase SAP knowledge and best practices in the Customer Service, Supply Chain and Logistics organisation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing system availability, integrity and stability by monitoring users' issues raised in the Supply Chain and Commercial areas.
  • Support users in their daily activities assist with user training development and delivery with the goal to develop the users to be autonomous and proficient.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in all stages of project development:
  • Deliver on time, effectively and efficiently the assigned projects, project preparation tasks, development activities.
  • Support the business team throughout all the phases of the project (training UAT scope, develop test scripts, Cutover activities, deployment readiness)
  • Lead, as well as participate in, System Unit and Integration testing
    Cross-train others and self on additional SAP modules as directed in order to provide back-up support of assigned areas of responsibilities.
  • Assist with SAP user training development, documentation and delivery
  • Provide assistance and training to external parties as eg external terminals
  • Work closely with the European Sap Business Analysts to keep alignment and standardization across the organization, seeking for best practices and optimization. Report on progress and issues.
Skills/Competencies:
Level of Education & Experience in general
  • Bachelor degree in technical field or minimum 10 experience in SAP - with knowledge of supply chain and commercial processes.
  • Minimum 5 years of e experience in supply chain and commercial environment
  • Modules: SD, MM, PP. Knowledge of FI, CO and QM is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Technical Skills
  • Detailed knowledge of Commercial and Supply Chain Business processes
  • Possessing knowledge of software testing procedures
  • Writing functional specifications and preparing training materials
  • Translating business solutions into Technical Specifications
  • Detailed understanding of technical interfaces between SAP existing systems and external parties.
  • Ability to work with MS-Office and SAP IT tools efficiently and effectively.
