Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and the capability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. This role will work independently but collaborate with various other departments including marketing, growth, and delivery.
Duties
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for website pages, press releases, proposal responses, and marketing materials.
- Edit and proofread already written content.
- Develop engaging, relevant, and audience-targeted content that aligns with the brand's voice and messaging.
- Incorporate SEO best practices into content to improve organic search rankings, including the use of relevant keywords.
- Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to the content schedule, and maintain a consistent publishing frequency.
- Ability to quickly learn about new topics, customers, or technologies and convey them effectively in content.
- Ability to understand and incorporate feedback provided by other team members.
- Ability to interview team members to learn about the company, our services, and our customers.
Experience
- Strong dependability and reliability.
- 3+ years of experience writing content, ideally in the government contracting technology, software, or hardware industries.
- Proven experience in writing about technical products for a professional audience.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for technical content, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and optimization for search engines.
- Examples of content that demonstrate the ability to explain complex concepts and drive engagement.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for accuracy, grammar, and style.
- Ability to maintain brand voice and consistency across all content while adapting to different technical topics and services.
