The Head of Automation will lead the automation strategy and execution for business processes, data pipelines, data sourcing, and analytics automation. This role requires deep expertise in ETL and automation technologies such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Xceptor, Alteryx, Blue Prism and UiPath. The individual will be responsible for driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in our business operations through the implementation of advanced automation solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in automation, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with automation technologies such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Xceptor, Alteryx, Blue Prism and UiPath.
  • Strong knowledge of Database and Snowflake
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline design, data sourcing, and data integration processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience in process optimization and business process re-engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business. CDO office and IT data team to develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy and implement that aligns with business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for automation across various business processes, data pipelines, and data sourcing activities by working with Business automation team, CDO office and application team.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of automation specialists, Data specialists and developers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of automation initiatives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of automated solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Xceptor, Alteryx, Blue Prism and UiPath.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the performance of automation initiatives.
  • Ensure that all automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with data teams to ensure that automated data processes meet business needs and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Lead process re-engineering initiatives to optimize workflows before automation.
  • Ensure that automation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in process efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Technology and Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and select automation tools and platforms that best fit the organization’s needs.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure that technology investments deliver the expected return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in relevant automation tools and technologies. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in process automation.
  • Familiarity with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) governance and security best practices.
