Human Resources Director

Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources leads, oversees, and directs HR and administrative functions and the staff responsible for the company's Administrative Services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directs and oversees administrative support services and human resources staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with all management staff to identify and deliver the required administrative support operations for the organization.
  • Drafts and distributes statistical reports, analyses, and exhibits to company stakeholders and when required, to regulatory and government agencies.
  • Develops, evaluates, and maintains the management information system (MIS).
  • Maintains the organization's administrative policies and procedures manual.
  • Ensures the organization's compliance with applicable health, building, zoning, and safety licensing and certification requirements.
  • Serves as a member of the organization's key administrative decision-making and planning body.
  • Collaborates with other management staff to draft and implement an annual administrative budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, the office equipment, recordkeeping systems, management information systems, and related protocols used in the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and tactful interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Demonstrated history of successful payroll management.
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review policies and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required.
  • Five years of experience in Human Resources, including a minimum three years in a director capacity, required.
  • Human Resources Professional Certification
  • Experience in the Medical/Dental field (Preferred, not required)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
