The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support throughout the recruitment process. This role will involve coordinating interviews, maintaining applicant tracking systems, communicating with candidates, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience from application to hire. This role is an exceptional fit for a relationship focused, results-oriented individual. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about interview scheduling, has a solid background in talent acquisition operations, and is ready to tackle projects of all sizes.
As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you'll make sure that candidates have an exceptional experience during the interview process by overseeing numerous details within the interview and offer process. You'll be tasked with keeping the process structured and keeping clear lines of communication with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates. With your customer focused attitude and attention to detail, you will help ensure the success of the KFC Talent Acquisition team.
What You'll Be Cooking Up:
  • Coordinate Interviews: Schedule interview panels and debriefs ensuring all stakeholders are informed of details such as time, location, and format (e.g., virtual, in-person).
  • Candidate Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Job Postings: Assist in drafting, leveling, and posting job descriptions on internal and external job boards, company website, and social media channels (i.e. Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain and update the ATS with candidate details, progress, and notes from interviews.
  • Sourcing / Screen Resumes: Support the Talent Acquisition team by developing sourcing plans and reviewing resumes and applications, shortlisting candidates, and forwarding them to relevant hiring managers.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment assessments.
  • Offer Letters: Partner with the HR tam to generate offer letters.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Collaborate with the HR team to ensure new hires have a smooth onboarding experience, including setting up orientation schedules and preparing onboarding documents.
  • Recruitment Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of recruitment events, such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruiting efforts.
  • Reporting: Prepare and generate recruitment metrics and reports for HR and hiring managers to track progress, candidate pipeline, and time-to-hire.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to ensure recruitment strategies are aligned with company goals.
The Ingredients You'll Need:
  • Education/Certifications - Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience • 1-2 years of previous Recruiting experience highly preferred; Human Resources experience desirable
  • Experience with an ATS • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities/requests.
