We are currently hiring a Lead Integration Developer in Boston, MA (*Hybrid) .
As the Lead Integration Developer, you will lead a small team of Integration Engineers, responsible for designing and implementing integration solutions across various platforms, ensuring seamless connections between diverse systems, applications, and databases. The Lead Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, and third-party vendors, to design, implement, and optimize system integrations. This position is ideal for a highly skilled software engineer with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for solving complex integration challenges.
*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule.
What You'll Brew:
- Create a collaborative team environment with business function stakeholders, business process leads, teams across IT, and other teams across Boston Beer.
- Take a lead role in design, development, and implementation of the MuleSoft platform and API development standards.
- Provide real-time integration solutions to drive revenue, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction in support of Boston Beer’s goals.
- Actively participate in prioritization, scoping, and planning new features and services as part of our Agile delivery methodology.
- Participate in innovation, design, and retrospective sessions, offering skills and insights as part of our Continuous Improvement program.
- Provide business application support to end-users through problem-solving, developing innovative solutions, and leading proactive systems maintenance.
- Leverage the latest technology platforms to integrate Boston Beer’s functional teams and unlock business value.
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field, or the equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of API design patterns, architecture, and programming standards.
- Experience developing systems for maintainability – including logging, alerting, and recovery.
- Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and Web services.
- Strong coding skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, C++, Python.
- Hands-on experience connecting enterprise systems.
- Hands-on MuleSoft development experience connecting diverse systems.
- Experience with version control systems – GIT, SVN.
- Focus on CLEAN – you value DRY, SOLID, UT; your work is readable and maintainable.

In accordance with pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role if hired is $91,800 – $182,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
