This role is ideal for a systems level design thinker who can operate independently with multiple stakeholders, tackle complex workflows, and contribute to a collaborative and rigorous design culture.

In this role, you will:

  2. Evolve design partnerships to move upstream. Our leadership partners value early design involvement, and there are many opportunities to contribute to early stage ideation.
  3. Dive deep to understand customer needs and product capabilities.
  4. Lead the design of core and foundational AWS services.
  5. Join a rich design culture, with cross team opportunities – participate in reviews, continue to flex and grow design skills.
  6. Develop and execute on research plans to identify gaps, and prioritize new features.

The Windows & Linux Platform and Modernization team helps large and medium sized enterprises run seamlessly in the cloud by providing tools to help them modernize and migrate their application portfolios, manage their software assets, and monitor their applications with powerful insights. The tools are evolving by automating laborious processes, building new game-changing platforms, and pushing the boundaries of predictive technology. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Experience (CX) team is seeking a talented and passionate senior user experience designer to join our growing design and research studio.

In your day to day, you will partner with product and engineering stakeholders to tackle the challenging design problems that come with an ever-evolving, complex product ecosystem.
