Southshore Michigan CIty is a leading dental practice committed to delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. We are currently seeking a highly organized dental assistant to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our practice.

Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Oral Surgery experience required
- X-Ray Certification
- Experience with dental implants preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems is a plus

- M/W: 8:00am-6:00pm
- T/TH: 8:00am-4:00pm
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
- Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies, and equipment as necessary
