Summary:
Meta is hiring a Network Hardware Engineer within our Network Infrastructure organization to build cutting edge Network ASICs for network acceleration. We are looking for individuals with deep experience building complex SOC and IP for data center applications and modern AI infrastructure.
Required Skills:
Network AI Hardware Engineer Responsibilities:
Architectural exploration for network ASICs and network architecture.
Proof of Concept design and network modeling for architectural concepts and product delivery of network ASIC interconnects for AI Systems.
Micro-architecture development.
Soft and hard IP identification, selection and integration.
Collaboration with the ASIC development, architecture, verification and emulation teams to define the architecture specification, verification and emulation test plans and help in test plan development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of work experience in design and micro-architecture for network control and data path IPs or experience in SoC micro-architecture, design and integration.
Experience understanding and mitigating network hardware and topology failures.
Experience coding in higher-level languages (e.g., Python, C++, Go, C, etc.).
Experience developing and understanding network device configuration for at least one vendor (NVidia/Mellanox, Arista/Broadcom, etc.).
Experience learning software, frameworks and APIs.

Knowledge of RoCE and Infiniband protocols.
Understanding and development of Ethernet and Infiniband HPC Architectures.
Hardware and software development experience integrating optics and ethernet switching ASICs to build network systems.
Experience in data path development.
Experience in CPU, NOC, memory and peripheral systems.
Public Compensation:
$213,000/year to $293,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
