Position Summary Information
Summary
Assist with the management of all credentialing functions including medical insurance, credentialing compliance, clinical onboarding clearances, immunization clinics, student communications, and credentialing spreadsheet management; and general Student Services administrative support including assistance with CAPP materials.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Student Insurance: Work with third party insurance brokers to manage the annual process for student insurance including plan identification, student roster management, waiver and enrollment management, student communication, website management and billing. Manage Life & Disability insurance enrollment and billing.
Credentialing Compliance: Assist with verifications of credentialing compliance including spreadsheet management and updates, third party verifications for trainings (Certiphi, Castlebranch, CITI), drug testing, immunizations, etc.; and communicate non-compliance with students to ensure compliance is met.
Clinical Clearances: Assist the Assistant Director of Credentialing with completing all clinical, experiential, and not-for-credit clearances and onboarding for all students.
Communication: Develop and distribute communications to students on behalf of Credentialing including communications with students on leave, non-compliant students, off-track students, invitations to various immunization clinics and drug testing; maintain the credentialing websites and NavigateNEOMED credentialing modules to ensure updated information is available to students.
CAPP Support: Support administrative duties associated with all Committees on Academic and Professional Progress including CAPP folder preparation and CAPP correspondence.
Miscellaneous Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of credentialing or similar experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with health records
  • Higher education experience

Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
Department Specific Information
Starting Pay Rate: $17.59 -$20.81, commensurate with experience.
