Overview

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a General Cardiologist to join our well-established practice at AdventHealth Orlando. The practice consists of 14 physicians, General, Interventional and Electrophysiology, as well as advanced practice providers. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced cardiologists and new fellows.

This position will provide some inpatient coverage at AdventHealth Orlando, recognized as the #1 Hospital in Central Florida, by US News and World Report . See our website  for cardiac treatments and services offered at AdventHealth Orlando. 

  • Availability to perform diagnostic catheterizations (not required) 
  • Perform nuclear and stress tests 
  • Average 18-25 patients in clinic per full-day 
  • 1 in 7 weekend hospital coverage, with 1 service week rotation every 7 weeks 
  • Hospital census varies; average 18-35 patients, supported by APPs 
  • 1 night per week of hospital call

This 15-story sanctuary of healing offers patients a full range of comprehensive heart and vascular care, including 12 hybrid operating rooms housing electrophysiology, vascular and invasive cardiology.

Requirements for the position: 

  • BC/BE in Cardiology 
  • Active FL medical license and DEA, or ability to obtain

Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly preferred
