IW Group is looking for an Associate Creative Director with a background in Art Direction. This should be someone who has a deep understanding of the AAPI market. Additionally, this person needs to be a strong conceptual thinker who is able to articulate their ideas well. Comedy in their portfolio is a must. Ideally, this person is a pretty good writer in their own right. Someone who has shown the ability to lead projects on their own.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage projects from concept to delivery
- Ideate and concept multiple projects
- Including campaigns for social media, digital, experiential and TV/OLV
- Responsible for the visual style, aesthetic and images used across different campaigns and platforms
- Support the team with agency presentations with deck building and designing
- Help lead campaigns from development to delivery
- Ability to develop and write scripts is a big plus
- Present work to clients for approval
- Ensure client's feedback is applied to revisions
- Manage and mentor junior members of the creative department
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 6-8 years of professional work experience as an Art Director in an agency or client setting.
- Knowledge of AAPI and Gen Z strongly preferred.
- Must be willing and able to travel (up to 20%).
- Innovative and boundary-pushing conceptual skills.
- A clear and in-depth understanding of social media trends and best practices.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
- Proficiency in using AI and other innovative tools for work processes and ideation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great people-person.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to tell stories with data in a simple and visually impactful way.
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, sound judgment, and a positive attitude.
- Computer knowledge required (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite-PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).

HYBRID WORK MODEL:
- IW Group has adopted a hybrid work model. Managers set their own in-office schedule, but team members are requested to work in-office at least twice per week.
- While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office, client office or other identified location.
- This role may require extended work hours (including nights and weekends) to complete certain projects, with or without advance notice.
- This role may require work outside of the office (e.g., client events) or travel outside of the local work area (e.g., client locations).
