The Opportunity

Atraverse Medical is an innovative, medical device start-up developing flexible left-heart access technologies to streamline procedures and improve patient outcomes. We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Accounting Manager to join our team.

What you will do

The Accounting Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities critical to Atraverse Medical’s financial operations. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate and current accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers through managing transaction flows, reconciliations, controls and reporting. This role will lead the day-to-day corporate accounting functions and help shape organizational processes as the company continues to grow. This role will report to the Controller.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and controlling accounts receivable by verifying transaction information, computing charges, and preparing and distributing invoices to customers
  • Processing incoming payments and posting payments to customer accounts
  • Receiving, recording and processing invoices for payment and keeping accounts payable up to date using a bill pay system, paying bills cleared by the Controller
  • Managing daily bookkeeping and record keeping
  • Verifying accounts by reconciling statements and transactions
  • Analyzing financial records for accuracy
  • Preparing monthly financial reports including income statements, balance sheet, statement of cash flows and any other requested reports
  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
  • Performing additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with QuickBooks online for customer invoicing and accounts receivable collection as well as bill entries and accounts payable management.
  • Experience with product-based accounting is a must-have.
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong computation skills
  • Comprehensive personal computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office including excel required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to present information clearly, completely and accurately
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work well under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and be proactive
  • High sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail is essential

  • This position is remote and may require occasional domestic travel.
