Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Electrical, Controls/Automation.
  • Expertise in integrating power switchgear, automation components, transformers, and branch circuit protection with motors, valves, filters, and sensors into high-quality systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting electrical schematics for power and control systems.
  • Programming and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic, structured text, and function blocks using Studio 5000.
  • SCADA and HMI programming, with a preference for Wonderware software.

  • Review User Requirement Specifications (URS) and provide Electrical and Automation recommendations in line with industry standards.
  • Facilitate training for operators and maintenance teams, following established guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules, tracking milestones, parts ordering, and vendor commitments.
  • Develop and review electrical designs using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with industry standards, including necessary electrical calculations and SISTEMA documentation.
  • Design and review pneumatic systems for projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop and review control designs and MCC designs, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) by creating and reviewing based on electrical and pneumatic schematics, and track material deliveries.
  • Design and review PLC tagging, following standardized document requirements.
  • Develop and review PLC programs in Rockwell Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA, ensuring compliance with standardized programming guidelines.
  • Create and review network architectures and manage communication exchange signals between PLCs.
  • Develop checklists for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) by established guidelines.
  • Design and review HMI screens using Wonderware Software, adhering to established development guidelines.
  • Create simulation plans to test SCADA functionalities such as Recipe Management, Product Routes, and CIP Routes.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure HMI screens and SCADA controls are intuitive and work effectively with the operations team.
