The Logistics Support specialist, will provide high-level support to the US Navy in support of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. Providing coordination, documentation, training development, and ILS advisement support.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Job Functions:
- Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) support of all non-Program of Record (non-POR) Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems within the LCS program as follows:
- Develop, update and maintain a schedule using Microsoft Project to track the completion of all ILS tasks and deliverable.
- Develop and submit recurring Weekly Status Reports (WARs) to report on the progress of all ILS tasks and deliverables.
- Assist with validating and assessing the status of ILS products and packages.
- Develop, update and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Develop, update and maintain User's Logistics Support Summary (ULSS) documents.
- Develop, update and maintain ILS-related technical data and publications that are required for the operation and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit interim and final ILS certifications in support of installations, upgrades, and modernization.
- Develop, update and maintain ILS checklist.
- Assist with collecting, uploading, and maintaining ILS-related technical data and documentation in Government SharePoint sites, such as but not limited to, the NAVWAR SYSCOM Acquisition Integrated Logistics Online Repository (SAILOR).
- Track and maintain End of Life (EOL), End of Sale (EOS), and End of Service Life (EOSL) data.
- Review and provide feedback on the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) cases tracked in the Obsolescence Management Information System (OMIS) Top-Down, Break-Down (TDBD) reports.
- Review and provide feedback on the DMSMS monthly status reports that are submitted to the DMSMS Management Team (DMT).
- Collect, track, and report the status and metrics for corrective maintenance action.
- Collect, track, and report the status and metrics for Preventative Maintenance System Technical Feedback Reports (PMS TFBRs), Technical Manual Deficiency/Evaluation Reporting (TMDER), and Fleet Consolidated Allowance Lists (COSAL) Feedback Reports (FCBRs) for non-POR SR systems and equipment installed onboard post LCS platforms.
- Assist with developing and updating Cost Base Analysis (CBA) for entry into Navy Data Environment (NDE) as required for Ships Change Documents (SCDs).
- Assist with developing requirements for Planning Yard (PY) tasking in support of SCDs of non-POR C4ISR systems and equipment installed onboard post OWLD LCS platforms.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- U.S. Citizen.
- MS products.Must be working towards Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) in Lifecycle (Acquisition) Logistics Level 1, or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training), or possess an additional one (1) year working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
- Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including logistics principles, practices, and processes. One (1) year of experience in support of C4ISR systems. Demonstrated skills, including Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Valid state driver's license.
