Role Summary:

• Establish domain-specific standards and roadmaps, providing direction on implementation and execution.
• Contribute to creating the vision for future state technologies and participate in setting Enterprise standards and strategy.
• Develop technology specifications, ensuring adherence to Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Lead research and development efforts, providing technical expertise in introducing new technologies.
• Guide projects through the SDLC, ensuring QA/architectural review functions.
• Serve as the technical owner for domain-specific solutions in the Production environment.
• Facilitate communication between IS workgroups and business stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of delivering SOA/middleware integration projects, demonstrating experience modeling reusable business objects and services.
• Thorough understanding of modern enterprise architecture, hands-on experience with enterprise application integration middleware and platforms.
• Expert level of technical knowledge in architecture, application systems design, and integration.
• ITILv3 certifications a plus.
• Strong understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices (preferred).
• Knowledge and skills in data warehousing methodologies and tools (preferred).
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related major, or equivalent IS/business experience.
• 6-8 years of IS/business experience, with a broad understanding of information systems.
• 4+ years of experience with deployment and administration of J2EE application servers and containers.
• 4+ years of experience with SOA, ESB, JMS messaging, transaction, XML, and/or Web Services integration technologies.
