Summer Ice Cream Scooper

*This position would be for our Village Gardens, Telegraph District, or Fallbrook locations during summer 2024*

Our scoopers are the first impression of (402) Creamery for new and returning guests. We are looking for self-motivated, energetic, team-oriented individuals to join our team! As a summer scooper, your main goal is to create the best possible experience for each person that comes into our store. It is required that our team be self-starters, highly motivated, and positive.

Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• Can stay unapologetically positive in a high-volume & customer-facing position
• Can stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Current Food Handler’s permit (can obtain after hire)
• Respect for safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in close proximity to others
• Must be available for all weekend shifts (Friday night & all day Saturday & Sunday)

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creating the best possible experience for each person that comes into our store
• Maintaining store cleanliness

Position Location: Any of our 3 scoop shops

Position Type: Seasonal Part time (10-25 hours/week) from mid-May to mid-August

Job Shift: Days, nights, weekends & holidays (Must be available for all weekend shifts: Friday night & all day Saturday & Sunday)

Pay Range: $12.50-$13.50 Hourly + $5 avg. tips per hour. Pay range is based on availability, previous experience, etc.
