Gordon Marketing, a forty-year-old family run company conducting insurance sales and marketing on a national basis, is seeking candidates for the position of Sales Director. This opportunity would allow the right individual to demonstrate their sales management and marketing skills by assisting with directing the efforts of Gordon Marketing’s team of dedicated Recruiters and Marketers. Those efforts would directly result in improved development of relationships with agents doing business in the Medicare, health, annuity, and life insurance arenas.

The right candidate for this position possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Direct sales and/or management experience in the insurance field is a significant plus. They should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment that challenges them to multitask, build their skills, and grow. They must be eminently coachable with a high energy personality. Great phone skills and a service mentality are a must in the team environment.

Duties:

  1. Plan Sales Initiatives
  2. Monitor sales activity and goal acquisition reporting regularly to Executive Team
  3. Train team members in selling techniques, phone skills and relationship building
  4. Work with carrier reps to develop sales initiatives and manage those sales activities
  5. Maximize agent communication efforts via email, text messaging, and new technologies
  6. Conduct daily training meetings with Recruiters, Marketers and agents
  7. Cultivate and maintain positive and strong relationships with the team members
  8. Initiate sales incentives and contacts tracking and rewarding
  9. Organize and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly workflows
  10. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions to agents

Salary:

Annual compensation of $60,000 predicated on education, experience, and training. Bonus and other incentives based on performance and results.
