The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for the development and oversight of all processes related to accounting and financial reporting in Lifespark Senior Living. The person serving in this position will oversee the functions of the accounting department to include financial analysis, reporting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. The person will also support integration efforts within the overall Lifespark accounting structure. Position Functions and Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of all processes related to accounting and financial reporting in Lifespark Senior Living Oversee bank compliance reporting Ensure financial statements and accounting practices are in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and HUD Responsible for timely distribution of month-end Responsible for timely year-end financial reporting including audit and tax Oversee and manage general ledger and all other software related to financial systems and financial reporting Ensure accounting and financial records are accurate, timely and retained Manage banking relationships, users and systems and process to ensure users comply with regulatory and company security protocols Direct responsibility for accounting and financial support for assigned facilities with oversight for the remaining Participate in senior living leadership meetings as needed Budget processes Support operations functions related to annual budget process Maintain budgetary tools and reports Participate in analysis related to forecasting and budgets including cash projections Perform additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Experience & Education Minimum of 6 years in accounting or related field Minimum of 2 years of management or leadership experience Healthcare experience preferred Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field It has been and will continue to be our policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to age, race, creed, color, disability, marital status, sex, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, arrest record, conviction record, military service, use or nonuse of lawful products off the Employer's premises during nonworking hours, or declining to attend a meeting or to participate in any communication about religious matters or political matters, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local law. #LSCorp
