Expeditor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented supply chain professional to join our client's organization as an Expeditor due to growth in the business. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient processing of purchase orders, maintaining communication with vendors, and resolving any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
Expeditor Responsibilities:

• Generate, review, and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
  
• Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  
• Work closely with internal departments to verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth communication and efficient procurement processes
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, communications, and related documentation
  
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on purchase order status and performance metrics
  
• Take proactive measures to prevent and mitigate potential issues in the procurement process

Expeditor Qualifications :

• 2-3+ years of experience in procurement or purchase order management
  
• Proficiency in using an ERP software tool
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners
  
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
