Position Title: Assistant Professor
Salary Range: The posted UC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. The salary range for this position is $78,200-$101,400.

Position Description
As part of a cluster hire in "Environment and Justice", the Department of Geography at UCLA invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor for a human geographer working in nature/society or human/environment geography. We welcome international applicants as well as scholars doing research outside the US. Applications must hold a PhD in Geography or related discipline at the time of appointment.
Appointment will begin July 1, 2025. The UCLA Department of Geography is among the top ranked Geography departments in the nation and offers a multi-faceted faculty with numerous opportunities for cross-disciplinary scholarship.
