Job SummaryThe Director - IT Shared Services isa senior-level management role responsible forleading teams in our Information Technology department focused on Shared Services like Architecture, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Automation, and Agile Practices. The Director of IT – Shared Services has a solid technical background and can manage multiple engineering and technical resources teams. If you join our team, you’ll enjoy:Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S.Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities.Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family.World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive – in our offices or yours.ResponsibilitiesInclude, but are not limited to:The Director of IT - Shared Services will work closely with the Sr. Director of IT Architecture to set the vision, technology and architecture strategy tightly linked to SHI’s business needs and ensure that all Information Technology initiatives are advancingThis role will partner with business teams to provide a capability roadmap, process mapping, program execution guidance, talent development, operational excellence, and strategic executionMaintain a high level of effectiveness through employee performance management activities while developing next-generation leadersContribute to and lead elements of the overall platform strategy and communicate your strategy and vision as you influence across the EnterpriseCreate and operationalize new strategies and methods to address changing business needs and best position the team to support the organizationPartner with executives in the business and technology to establish relationships and networks that enable effective collaboration among groups and solicit feedback to build the effectiveness of the team's servicesUtilize technical and architecture expertise to create architecture strategies and artifacts, review, provide feedback, and hone solutions produced by the teamQualificationsA bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, analytics, or a related field is required10+ years of experience with architecture, software engineering, design patterns, quality assurance, and development processes10+ years of experience managing multiple high-performing teams in an IT OrganizationRequired SkillsTrack record of developing strategic technology roadmaps and delivering on timelines and within budgetAbility to manage a complex budget, including building new investment cases and effectively gauging return on investmentDesire to work in a collaborative, open environment on an agile team as a contributor and mentorExcellent verbal, written, and visual communication and presentation skillsAbility to work with key stakeholders across the organization and seamlessly deliver resultsStrong public speaking skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholders of all levels across multiple functionsA linear, logical thinking style that can break down and solve complex problemsAbility to give and receive constructive criticismEmotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organizationKnowledge of all functions and roles within the IT departmentAbility to meet deadlines under pressureUnique RequirementsThe position requires 30% travel for businessAdditional InformationThis position's estimated annual pay range is $180,000- $220,000. Compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
