Provide financial administrative support as needed.Works closely with the Medical Billing Manager and Millin Billing Team in support of all billing functions at CRWCollaborates with EA Finance team in A/R functions and is responsible for maintaining claims and receivables reports for all billable services at CRWResponsibilities:Support the billing team with all billing functionsReview all Millin billing/AR reports for accuracy,Assist Millin Associates by responding to inquiries on Issue Tracker, identify and resolve billing issues, and follow up on denials if requiredReview Service documentation and Billing files for accuracy and completionRespond to A/R-related queries and issues related to monthly billing reportsMaintain detailed receivables reports for both Part-822 and Part-820 OASAS programs and Billing Manager of any billing-related trends.Perform eligibility verification for all types of payors (Medicaid, MCOs, Medicare, Commercial, ACS) through the portals and over the phone/process PA for outpatient services if requiredFollow up on updates and changes in pay rates, rules, and regulations pertinent to OASAS programsAssist with reviewing Aura/EMR system reports, including Billing Weekly reports for accuracy and consistencyAssist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end-close, relating to all billing transactions and receivables at CRW including the preparation of reports and reconciliations if requiredTrack A/R claims submitted to Manage Care Plans and Medicaid and all other payorsRegularly interact with Finance to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all receivables at CRW.Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.Requirements:College degree required; experience with medical billing, bookkeeping, and accounting highly preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Willingness and ability to learn Aura and new software(s) as required.Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
