We are seeking a proactive and skilled Public Relations Associate to join our team. This role will involve preparing and optimizing blog posts, crafting press releases, and securing media relations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in public relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and optimize engaging blog posts aligned with Soopra's brand and mission.
- Draft compelling press releases to promote Soopra's initiatives and achievements.
- Reach out to journalists and media outlets to secure press coverage.
- Book appearances and interviews for Soopra's leadership and experts.
- Cultivate and maintain strong media relations to enhance Soopra's public presence.
- Liaise with our PR advisors to align strategies and efforts.
- Track and report on PR activities and coverage.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Experience in public relations or related activities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in media relations or PR campaigns.
- Familiarity with PR tools and platforms.
Location: Remote
Duration and Schedule:
- 6 months minimum
- Work on your own time to meet project deadlines
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship with the potential to transition to a paid position.
