We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Planning & Analysis to join our BNY Data Analytics, Reporting & Transformation team. This role can be located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL in a hybrid work environment.

About the team:
The Data, Analytics, Reporting, and Transformation (DART) team drives more effective risk management across Risk & Compliance and the wider enterprise through consistent data, advanced analytics, and insightful and timely reporting. Further, DART enables continuous and forward-looking risk management capabilities, executing proactive and effective risk management, and enabling risk intelligent strategic decision making.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  1. Partner with stakeholders across various teams within and outside of DART to assist in the overall governance and change management.
  2. Work with peers to ensure documented processes are in place to facilitate the origination and maintenance of DART risk reporting.
  3. Provide Regulatory and Audit Issue management support, manage updates to inventories, documents, and repositories.
  4. Administer risk management activities and track team performance via team assessments and monthly KPI scorecards.
  5. Assist with training and employee engagement initiatives and coordinate/host key meetings including Change and Governance Forums.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline.
  2. 5-7 years of experience is required.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently, self-directed, and solutions-oriented.
  5. Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and partnership skills.
  6. Knowledge/experience with financial services and/or regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate would have a combination of several of the below preferred qualifications:
  1. Experience in project management, management consulting, risk management in financial services.
  2. Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving.
  3. Effective and efficient communication of complex ideas–verbally and in writing.
  4. Intellectually curious and interested in the future of financial services.
  5. Entrepreneurial and results-driven.
  6. Stays abreast of industry and company practices relevant to project management such as metrics, performance indicators, reporting protocols, etc.
  7. Leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting.
  8. Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PMI, Six Sigma, etc.) is desired.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
