Mechanical Engineer - Embedded Systems Design

Description

SAIC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test applications software and systems for electronic, electro-mechanical, or electro-optic equipment. This role will involve aiding in the development of embedded software for real-time operating systems and processors, as well as reading schematics of complex electronic assemblies. The candidate will work on problem-solving, solution development, and implementation within a dynamic team environment. Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills will be essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of related experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to creatively problem solve and learn new skills
• Experience in embedded systems design is a plus
