As a result of continued growth, Marmon is now seeking a new Jr. Project Manager to join our Corporate IT team. Reporting directly to the Director, Global PMO, this newly created role will partner with business stakeholders across the organization to provide timely, relevant project management expertise and help drive innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.

What You'll Do


Gather and Analyze Requirements:
  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  2. Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
  3. Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams
Design Solutions:
  1. Organize and plan project tasks and schedules
  2. Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs
  3. Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges
  4. Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities
Communicate with Stakeholders:
  1. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
  2. Create presentations and reports to communicate project status
  3. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  4. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences
  5. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan
Create Documentation:
  1. Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Assure Quality:
  1. Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions
  2. Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality
Improve Processes:
  1. Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement
  2. Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation

What You'll Bring To The Role


  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  2. 1-3 years of demonstrated Project Manager/Business Analyst experience or closely related experience
  3. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  5. Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
  6. Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle
  7. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  8. Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  9. Ability to analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions
