Neuberger Berman is looking for an experienced Workday professional to join the Human Capital Management team as an individual contributor reporting to the HRIS Director. This role is part of a team responsible for the day-to-day support, as well as optimization efforts across all the Workday HCM modules which includes HCM Core, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Learning, Performance Management and Talent modules. Crisp communication skills, a collaborative style and a professional demeanor are necessary attributes to be successful in the client service aspects of this role. We work in a dynamic environment with many objectives to achieve on both a daily and longer-term basis.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide Workday functional expertise to configure and maintain Workday core functionality (e.g., business processes, calculated fields, notifications, organizational hierarchies, custom objects, EIBs, etc.), as needed
  • Implement and deploy technical and functional solutions related to new functionality; includes project management, gathering requirements, user acceptance testing and documentation
  • Partner with HCM stakeholders to understand current processes and provide creative solutions and improvements
  • Contribute to the Workday strategy and design; aware of future releases and roadmap and understand impact to current functionality
  • Provide day-to-day support to the HCM team and assist in researching and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained and transactions are accurate
  • Design, create and maintain dashboards and reports, including calculated fields when necessary
  • Lead efforts to support annual HCM processes including year-end compensation, benefits open enrollment and performance management
  • Participate in ad hoc HCM projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of solid Workday experience required; configuration and functional knowledge of business processes, report writing, calculated fields and security (Recruiting module experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, dynamic environment and using independent judgement
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$160,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
