Job Description:


  • 8-10 years of experience related to Propulsion Systems and engines.
  • Interface with vehicle and manufacturing teams with respect to discovered engine related issues
  • Lead root cause determination of engine and/or propulsion system issues and support thru closure
  • Lead engine validation plan execution
  • Ensure adequate representation at issue resolution meetings, escalate unresolved issues to senior management and lead/challenge the team to deliver a benchmark design
  • Process and analyze dyno, vehicle and supplier/internal plant manufacturing processing data using INCA MDA, Matlab, Simulink, CANalyzer and/or Microsoft Excel to establish trends and identify issues
  • Initiate contact and support meetings with other business units: virtual engineering, aerothermal, NVH, cooling system architecture, calibration, controls, manufacturing, and supplier operations
  • Concise presentation of technical findings for all topics with recommended of next steps identified
  • Support value optimization and quality improvement initiatives


Technical Skills


  • Supplier must have demonstrated a wide range of technical expertise in Propulsion Systems
  • Supplier must be able to analyze and process data in INCA MDA, Matlab, Simulink, CANalyzer and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Supplier must be able to lead resolution of technical issues with structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Supplier must be able to provide value evaluations for different solution proposals
  • Supplier must have a working knowledge of client NX and TeamCenter
  • Supplier must have access to Bestandard for engineering standards
