SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Supply Chain Spec obtains services at lowest cost consistent with approved quality and delivery standards. Prepares the appropriate acquisition instrument, consistent with Grady Health System Policies, for the procurement of goods and services. Ensures all actions initiated and exercised will be in accordance with sound Business practice. Recommends improvements in over-all purchasing program which will advance the objectives of the hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other related field or have equivalent purchasing, Pharmacy or healthcare experience.
- Three (3) years experience in pharmacy or health care is required.
- Purchasing experience preferred.
- Excel and Word processing skills required
- Must have general knowledge of hospital supply and equipment needs.
