Bezel is seeking a strategic and analytical marketer to join our team as the Head of Retention & Lifecycle Marketing. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you will develop and execute comprehensive campaigns to drive user engagement, conversion, and loyalty across our platform. As a senior member of our marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term growth trajectory while owning the execution of lifecycle marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies across email, push, SMS, in-app messaging, direct mail, and more.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of CRM initiatives to personalize user experiences and maximize customer lifetime value across all touchpoints.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate CRM tools and capabilities into our app and website.
  4. Analyze user behavior, segmentation, and performance metrics across channels to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  5. Design and manage A/B tests and experiments to iterate on messaging, targeting, and user flows across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging campaigns.
  6. Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track performance and provide regular insights to key stakeholders across all channels.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in lifecycle marketing and CRM.

Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, retention, CRM, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment. Experience at a two or three-sided marketplace is preferred.
  2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing and CRM strategies that drive measurable business impact.
  3. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to take action on insights found.
  4. Experience working hands-on with Google Analytics (GA4), SQL, Amplitude, and other analytics tools.
  5. Experience working hands-on with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools. Specific experience with customer.io, iterable, intercom, braze, and/or salesforce marketing cloud a plus.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  7. Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term while also rolling up your sleeves and executing at a tactical level.
  8. Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
