Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
TranSystems is excited to announce we are actively searching for a CADD Technician to join our Site and Utilities Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Grade objects, alignments, profiles, pipe networks, volumes, cross-sections and typical sections using Civil 3D and modeling techniques.
  • General plan preparation in accordance with WBCM policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit documents in accordance with review agency checklists and WBCM standards.
  • Create details in accordance with construction documents.
  • Address reviewers' comments
  • A strong work ethic and a desire to learn is required.
Qualifications
What you bring to our firm:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Formal CADD Training certificate or coursework.
  • 0-5 years of experience.
  • Intermediate user of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Work well in teams.
  • Is punctual, flexible and able to work overtime as required to meet deadlines.
  • Minimal lifting - 10-20 lbs.
  • Must have valid Driver's license and own transportation.
  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

This compensation range is specific to the State of xxx and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Gannett Fleming TranSystems, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $19-$29/hr.
