Salary: $55,000 to $80,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience

Terrific Executive Assistant to the President ("Assistant") position with an international relations and policy nonprofit in the Washington, D.C. area. The Executive Assistant to the President is an integral role providing administrative support to the organization's Executive Office, consisting of the President, COO, and Chief of Staff. The Assistant will provide support to the Executive Office through calendar management, travel planning/logistics, providing meeting materials, and managing other administrative duties. This role will also work closely with the Chief of Staff on tasks related to Board engagement and meeting logistics. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage competing deadlines and priorities. Qualified candidates should have approximately 5+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree is required. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. area and operates on a hybrid schedule, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as a member of the Executive Office, ensuring streamlined operations and time management.
  2. Provide calendar management, meeting materials, travel logistics, and other administrative support for the Executive Office.
  3. Work closely with the President, COO, and Chief of Staff on confidential, complex matters.
  4. Create executive-level communications and correspondence.
  5. Manage budgets, expenses, and reimbursements for the office.
  6. Maintain and update office records and databases.
  7. Collaborate and assist the Chief of Staff on Board engagement and meeting logistics.

Qualifications

  1. Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree required.
  3. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Demonstrated track record of working with executive level staff.
  6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  7. Experience using Microsoft Office and tech savvy.
  8. Willingness to travel, as needed.
