Position Summary:

Carboline is seeking a Human Resources Intern at the manufacturing facility in Dayton, NV. You will work with Human Resources professionals and get hands-on experience in many aspects of Human Resources. If you are interested in kickstarting your career in HR and getting a closer look at how our company approaches payroll, recruiting, employee development, onboarding, and orientation, we would like to meet you. All of our internships are paid.


Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Currently enrolled in a college degree program seeking a degree in Human Resources Management or a similar field.


Physical Requirements:

This position may require light physical activity and computer usage for an extended period of time—up to 8 hours a day. Work environments may also require the use of hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed shoes.


Essential Functions:

  • Screening resumes and applications
  • Schedule interviews with candidates
  • Participate in organizing employee events to promote employee engagement
  • Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
  • Address employee questions about company policy
  • Maintain employee files as needed
  • Assist with basic employee relations tasks
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Commit to the company's safety and quality programs.
