Clark County Public Defender - Staff Attorney
Responsibilities:
Duties may include representation of indigent clients in one or more of the following courts: Common Pleas Court (criminal cases); Municipal Court (criminal and traffic cases); Juvenile Court (delinquency proceedings), and/or Domestic Relations Court (contempt hearings). Qualified applicant must be prepared to take on a significant case load with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Required Licenses and or Certificates: Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in good standing or sat for most recent Ohio bar exam. If not currently licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, passing the most recent Ohio bar exam will be a condition of continued employment. A current, valid driver license and safe, reliable personal vehicle available for county business use, and vehicle insurance that meets or exceeds the statutory minimum for the State of Ohio is also required.
