Certified Medical Assistant- Outpatient OBGYN

Job Posting: Medical Assistant for Busy OBGYN Clinic in Downtown Baltimore
Location: Downtown Baltimore
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our busy OBGYN clinic in Downtown Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Medical Assistant in any setting and be comfortable with various clinical tasks and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:

• Take and record patient vitals manually, ensuring accuracy and appropriate cuff size selection.
• Perform urine dips and pregnancy tests.
• Administer injections and vaccinations, including birth control methods like Depo Provera.
• Assist with surgical procedures such as IUD insertions/removals and colposcopies.
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 patients per day.
• Use of Epic for patient record management (preferred but not required).

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with manual vitals and comfortable with assisting in minor surgical procedures.
• Epic experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information:

• Midtown Towers office has parking available at approximately half the price of Penn Street, at $5-$6 per day.
• Candidates will initially train at both Penn Street and Midtown Towers offices.
